Watercolor 7"x10" Curtis spent one night in this sleepy little village in the Drôme region of France . . . in the house in the lower left corner of the painting. It's an enchanting village that appears to be trapped in time, unchanged for eons. Until a villager drives by in a new Renault, of course! This painting received an Honorable Mention award in the Waterloo Watercolor Group Fall 1998 Juried Exhibition in Austin, Texas. |
